The Martyrs

The Martyrs

The Martyrs(1882) Of the several accounts written of the martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, this history by Lyman O. Littlefield is considered one of the most exhaustive and complete. Because of his personal interest and his close proximity to Carthage, Brother Littlefield was asked by publishers for the Church to write a definitive work on the martyrdom using a wide array of source material. Several interviews and little-known events surrounding activities leading to and during the Carthage conspiracy are included.
